Abstract
The study dwelled into the effect of drug abuse on the academic
performance of secondary students. It was carried out in Koboko District
Town Council among the schools of Day Star, Modern and Town College.
The study utilized the students of different schools with a major aim of
determining the effect of drug abuse on academic performance.
The study appreciated the role played by other people toward the study
by reviewing their work and it is believed that the study is useful to the
students, teachers and school administrators and the country at large.
Descriptive design was employed and the researcher made questionnaire
to collect the intended information, the data was analyzed by use of
frequency tables, which made work more easy for the researcher.
